Asset Management Inc
-RIA (Registered Investment Adviser) Firm-

Investment Management

With an account balance of $25,000 or more you can have your IRA and other investment accounts professionally managed by an Advisor registered with LayLine, a RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firm with a fiduciary responsibility to act in clients’ best interest. In the beginning of the process, an Advisor works with you to determine your investment objectives, which investment account, Tactical or Strategic, is best for your needs, restrictions and other investment considerations. Advisors will manage the investments accordingly.
Tactical Investment Account
Positions held in IM Tactical and IM1 Tactical Portfolios are associated with LayLine's Tactical Models. The efficient nature of managing a model-based portfolio allows Tactical Investment Accounts to have lower management fees than Strategic Investment Accounts. Tactical Model Portfolios are not managed for tax efficiency.
IM Tactical Investment Portfolios Target Allocation
TacGrowth 65% Growth - 35% Income
TacBlend 50% Growth - 50% Income
TacIncome 35% Growth - 65% Income
TacALLGR 100% Growth - 0% Income
TacALLINC 0% Growth - 100% Income
IM Tactical Investment Portfolios generally contain between ten and fifteen. To accommodate a variety of investor objectives, the percentage allocated to each position varies depending on the portfolio objectives.

IM1 Tactical Investment Portfolio
IM1: Maximum of eight positions. Target allocations are generally balanced, 50% Growth, 50% Income.

IM1 Tactical Investment Portfolio is used to manage accounts where holding up to 15 positions (like the IM Tactical Portfolios) is not generally practical.

Strategic Investment Account
Strategic Investment Accounts hold both tactical and strategic positions (individual securities: i.e. stocks or bonds). Advisor provide investment selection and management in account(s) to match holdings in the portfolio as closely as possible, with the portfolio objective associated with the account and within any restrictions the client has indicated in the investment management agreement. Strategic investment management accounts have higher management fees associated with the fundamental management of strategic positions.
Common Objectives:
Growth: Target allocation is 65% Growth, 35% Income. Primary investment objective is generating short and long-term capital gains. Secondary investment objective is collecting dividend and income distributions.
Blend: Target allocation is 50% Growth, 50% Income. Primary investment objective is a balance between generating capital gains and collecting income.
Income: Target allocation is 35% Growth, 65% Income. Primary investment objective is collecting dividend and income distributions. Secondary investment objective is generating short and long-term capital gains.

Account Services

Investment Selection and Management
Advisors provide institutional style, discretionary, trading to match holdings in the account, as closely as possible, with the stated target allocation and investment objectives of the Tactical Investment Portfolio associated with the account or with the Strategic Investment Portfolio objective and within any restrictions the client has indicated in the investment management agreement.

Why Discretionary Trading: First, LayLine Advisors do not sell investments or get paid to make trades. When investment analysis indicates that it is prudent to make a change in positions, with discretion, the change is made in all accounts where it is appropriate and trades are entered at the same time. Neither LayLine nor Advisor gets paid to trade; there is no interest other than yours to make a trade. To minimize conflicts of interest, LayLine and Advisors do not except soft dollars, commissions or other forms of revenues.
Account Management: To control trading costs, expedite trade execution and to provide efficient investment management, Charles Schwab & Co. is our exclusive custodian for investment account(s). They provide custodial services, account maintenance, and provide official account statements and confirms. Clients always maintain control over the account. They provide Advisors with account management trade execution services.
Managing Retirement Investments: Managing investments that are to serve your needs in retirement are different then when you are younger or if independently wealthy. Advisors recognize the need to vary levels of cash; both as a hedge for market risk and for when needs arise during retirement (monthly income, medical and drug costs, travel).
